DIY Monday: Shabby Ruffle Burlap Lamp

These weeks have been pretty crazy with working still & planning for Beckette's "Le Bebe Shindig." I did get pictures of a project I did last Monday. I got the idea from a DIY project I found on Pinterest (if you don't have an account already, get one!). I purchased the burlap from Walmart (only $2.50/yard). I decided to use a similar color blue for the base because I just love Tiffany Blue. This is what my Crate & Barrel lamp looked like before:

After following the directions from the blog & about 2.5 hours of work, this is what I got & I love it! I ended up doing a lampshade for Beckette's room too. I will post photos later :)
